Pay Information $2,648 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months experience required License: IN or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: Must be comfortable with PCU and MedSurg. Must work every other weekend. Must have experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post-cardiac surgery, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care and management, and PICC line management. Description: The position is in an acuity adaptable unit, working with a mix of patients across various acuity levels. The nurse will float within the facility as needed. The average patient ratio is 1:5. Experience with cardiac surgeries, including management of ventilated patients and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, is preferred. Previous charge experience is preferred. The unit handles patient diagnoses including cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, cardiology, endocrine, and oncology. The facility features private rooms equipped with overhead lifts and telemetry monitoring. All staff must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Floating may be required to meet facility needs.
