Our Evansville team is looking for an entry level Facilities Maintenance Technician! This position will perform installations or repairs as needed to help things run smoothly and learn valuable skills on the job!

Here's What You'll Do:

• Repair basic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical repairs to equipment and machinery.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance to equipment and machinery as outlined in work order.
• Perform facility maintenance including basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. This could be changing lightbulbs, unclogging drains.
• Repair, install, and/or remove basic and routine motors and equipment. Assist in the repair, installation, and/or removal of more complex equipment.
• Perform basic test of electromechanical equipment and document accordingly. Troubleshoot known or suspected problems.
• Operate various equipment including but not limited to aerial and platform lifts; forklifts, pallet trucks, and boom trucks; overhead cranes, jibs, and gantries; dial indicators, dial calipers and micrometers; pipe threaders, taps, dies; hydraulic and pneumatic tools and equipment; power tools and benders; hydraulic jacks, rams, machinery skates, chain falls, and snatch blocks; rigging equipment including foundry hooks, wire rope slings, clevises, shackles, eye bolts, synthetic straps, and slings; various types of hand tools; welders, torches, compressors, and generators; CO monitors, Mutlimeters (vom), megohmeters, AC/DC amp clamps, high pots, and surge testers; hydrometers, thermography imaging, installation of electrical control components, and other tools and equipment as needed.
• Measure for and note proper replacement parts.
• Requisition needed items as approved by Coordinator.
• Store parts accurately.
• Lift, tighten, adjust, and/or secure heavy objects in order to perform work duties.
