Job Title: Guaranteed Lender FLSA Status: Exempt Job Status: Full-Time Location: Southern IL, Southern IN, Louisville KY JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Guaranteed Lender will oversee the lending process as it relates to SBA and USDA B&I loans. This position is responsible for educating employees to the details of loan specifics with the programs to ensure proper closings for the guarantee to be honored. This position will prospect and close their own loans within the guaranteed lending programs with existing clients and future prospects. Maintain a knowledge and awareness of various areas, including but not limited to current bank deposit, services, operations, marketing and personnel-related policies. Analyze and properly close all SBA and USDA B&I loans in accordance with the respective SOP's. Educate Legence Bank and AFMFS team members, as well as agents, on the SBA and USDA B&I programs. Work with the Education Coordinator to develop formal training for appropriate personnel. Prospect and close SBA and USDA B&I loans delivering significant revenue to the company. Maintain an updated knowledge to SBA and USDA B&I program SOP's, as well as commercial loan documentation and closing requirements, to include those specifically for government guaranteed loans. Work with internal and external auditors regarding compliance audits. Monitor Quality Control for Documentation ensuring compliance and work quality. Provide assistance on complex issues regarding daily operations. Maintain effective, timely and open communication with all departments and the management team. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication. Take initiative in developing brand awareness through continued relationship building with Top 100 working with other departments to strategically schedule visits with current and prospective customers. Adhere to all Legence Bank and AFMFS Hoopla standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers. Represent and promote the Company within the community through participation in bank sponsored events, philanthropic opportunities and civic events. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
