Responsibilities Install and configure software and hardware Manage network servers and technology tools Monitor performance and maintain server systems Troubleshoot issues and outages Upgrade systems with new releases and models Keep up to date technical documentation, manuals and IT policies Design or redesign services with a focus on best practices, security, and high availability Qualifications Strong knowledge of the following: Server level hardware with ability to recommend solutions from single host deployments to data center upgrade/deployments Active Directory in a large multi-domain environment with ability to lead technical aspects of migration of 1 domain into another plus knowledge of group polices Microsoft Server Administration (2012/2016/2019/2022) Microsoft File and Print services DHCP and Microsoft DHCP Replication DNS Powershell Experience with Patch Management Working Knowledge of the following: Virtualization in an enterprise environment. Experience with VMWare preferred.
