Job Description:

**Salaried Position: $60-65KRotating Shift:****Rotates between days and nights every 3 months **DAYS: 6:30AM - 6:30PMNights 6:30PM - 6:30AMDescription:Supervise Union employees in the production of metal closures insuring product quality, food safety, safety compliance and awareness, and teamwork.Responsibilities:

• Learn the process to produce metal closures learning from all areas of the production area.
• Apply written safety procedures and observe work areas.
• Apply SPC principles and basic quality tools (diagrams, flow/run/control charts, analysis, and etc.).
• Train in procedures to maximize productivity throughout.
• Manage equipment, enforce SOP's and standards.
• Develop and mentor employees.
• Direct and assign work, administer labor contract and compliance.
• Foster a positive workplace and communicate effectively.
• Maintain safety requirements, quality standards, production, efficiency, cost savings, product safety, scrap control, and administrative functions.Qualifications:
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred experience in a union environment.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
