Job Description:
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (TEMA) are looking to
add long term, contract Bodyweld Machine Seibis/Technicians to
assist in their ongoing capital projects! This client is currently
supporting massive remodel projects for both new and existing lines
at TMMI. As of now, this client currently manufactures various SUVs
under this brand. By the end of 2022, they will also be
manufacturing two electric vehicles. The group we are currently
supporting is the Bodyweld Seibi group that has two immediate
openings.The primary responsibilities for the hired candidates will
be the setup, launch, and troubleshooting of production lines
(Bodyweld Lines). Initially candidates will be responsible for
teaching robots and they will receive additional training to
program from scratch. The primary robotics utilized are Kawasaki
and Fanuc. 80% of their time now is spent on field activity. This
is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door with Toyota, and
to support large scale projects with high visibility on them.JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform investigations to determine change
requirements to equipment for new models- Confirm equipment is
designed and built to Assembly standards- Confirm equipment meets
required safety and quality standards - Torque, level, position,
etc- Develop and implement vendor trial plans for equipment- Lead
equipment Kanban process- Maintain equipment punch list- Conduct
production trials to determine equipment capability- Adjust
equipment to meet part build requirements- Make changes to
PLC/Robot programs, GUI systems, hardware changes, pneumatic
systems, hydraulic systems and electrical systems- Update weekly
schedules based upon actual performance- Submit reports on all
trials/results- Submit reflection items for personal and group
kaizen activityCandidates will be expected to travel on average
40-60% of the time. Locations include Kentucky, Canada, Cambridge,
Woodstock, Mexico, San Antonio, Mississippi. When traveling they
will receive travel and meal expenses. Typically they may travel
1-2 weeks at a time which will include weekend travel. This travel
will be to other facilities under this automotive client.MUST
HAVES1. Associates Degree minimum- industrial technology,
electrical engineering, maintenance, electrical/mechanical
engineering, robotics, etc.2. Robotics- some form of robot training
or hands on experience working with robotics.3. PLC Troubleshooting
or program editingPlus1. Robot Programming2. Candidates with
internships during school and just graduating are ideal.3. Motoman
