To learn more about Berry, visit .As a member of the Closures, Bottles and Specialty Team, a Project Management Engineer will have accountability to deliver the results of a project in the context of agreed-upon internal or external customer expectations, commitments and constraints. The Project Manager will have direct accountability for delivering projects on time and at or below budget. This position will work closely with Customers, Sales, Design Engineers, Product Development Engineers, Corporate Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Line Management to lead projects related to capacity expansion, asset replacement or major refurbishment, and commercialization of new products that will ultimately lead to profitability and growth.Preferred location is Evansville, IN or Satellite Team Office.ResponsibilitiesProject team leader with the authority to execute within the boundaries of the project, to enforce or influence behaviors or actions of the project team necessary to attain the results for which they are accountableAccountability to deliver the results of a project in the context of agreed-upon internal or external customer expectations, commitment and constraintsCoordinate and manage all aspects of projects from planning, capex development and approvals, project execution, asset commercialization, and project close out per Berry Global proceduresSole responsibility to develop and communicate time, cost, and project deliverables to leadership and project stakeholders.Responsible for reporting deviations on time, cost, and deliverable project components to senior management as project progressesMust be assertive, creative and data driven to keep projects on time and within budget to meet deliverables while practicing intelligent risk management (such as FMEA) with consultation from team members, peers, and senior managementResponsible for adherence to Berry, industry, and/or regulatory proceduresResponsible for closing a project and conducting a post project review for the continuous improvement of Berry Global on future projectsStage gate and Planview ownership from appointed stage through project close outPartners with the core team in the development and execution of the project plan:Ensuring the Scope of the project is aligned and clearly communicated (what's in and what's out of scope)Development of the project schedule, ensuring all tasks and actions are identified and aligned by the core team.Define clear project goals and metrics, and ensure project is on-track to meet those metricsLead team in identifying Risks/Issues, developing contingencies/mitigation plans, and managing the Risks/Issues. Clearly communicating to the team and stakeholdersDrive decisions and resolution of issues within the project teamResponsible for communications between different members of the team.
