Four 9 hr shifts per week, plus call shifts. 30 min response requirement. How you’ll make an impact in this role - Lead the clinical preparation and positioning of patients for cardiac procedures, ensuring their physical and emotional readiness for complex interventions. - Advocate for patient safety by performing expert hemodynamic monitoring and administering conscious sedation, maintaining a vigilant watch on vital signs throughout the procedure. - Coordinate the patient’s care journey by creating and documenting precise care plans, serving as the primary communication link between the patient and the physician. - Facilitate seamless diagnostic and therapeutic interventions by managing the setup and delivery of specialized equipment, ensuring the medical team has exactly what they need at every critical moment. - Champion positive patient outcomes by monitoring and communicating real-time status changes to the physician before, during, and after the procedure to ensure immediate response to patient needs. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing required. - Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional preferences we're seeking Prefer Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Prefer a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a high-acuity setting, such as the Emergency Department or ICU. Must obtain ACLS within a year of employment. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
