Oncology position requires patient assessment and intervention.
Medication administration is a key function of this role. The RN
must have the ability to follow through with orders and observe
patients closely. Documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
is essential. The role involves implementing and monitoring the
plan of care. Knowledge and experience in activities of daily
living (ADLs) are also required. This position involves caring for
patients with oncology, hematology, end of life, and hospice needs.
