Job Description:

Registered Nurses with experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units are sought for a 13-week contract at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Requirements:**

--- Current active compact license
--- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS certifications
--- 1 year of Med/Surg experience (prefer 2 years)
--- Recent EPIC experience required
--- Ability to work 12hr Days 6:30-7 and float between Deaconess Midtown/Gateway and Deaconess Henderson campuses

**Schedule Information:**

--- Contract Length: 13 weeks
--- Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
--- Every other weekend/every other holiday rotation

**Unit Specific Information:**

--- Skillset includes Med/Surg, Renal, Observation, Oncology/Pulmonary, Ortho/Neuro/Trauma, Cardiovascular at Midtown
--- Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio: Level II Trauma Facility, Teaching Facility, Acute Care. Ratios - 1:7

**Additional Details:**

--- NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)
--- Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
--- Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
--- GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
