Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered NurseWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience, with a preference for 2 years or more. You will be required to have a current active compact license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Additionally, you must have completed at least one travel assignment and have experience working in a trauma level 1 or 2 environment.Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform various medical procedures, including inserting IV lines, administering blood transfusions, and performing ECGs.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.Requirements:
  • Current active compact license.
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience, with a preference for 2 years or more.
  • Completed at least one travel assignment.
  • Experience working in a trauma level 1 or 2 environment.Work Environment:The ICU at Deaconess Midtown Hospital is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high volume of critically ill patients. You will be working in a team-based environment, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.Benefits:
