Job Title: Travel Nurse RNWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical/telemetry environment.Job Summary:This is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have current active compact licensure, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, as well as 1 year of Med/Surg experience (prefer 2 years). Trauma level 1 or 2 experience is required, and tele experience is highly preferred. Recent EPIC experience is also required.Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a medical surgical/telemetry environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate mannerRequirements:
  • Current active compact licensure
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • 1 year of Med/Surg experience (prefer 2 years)
  • Trauma level 1 or 2 experience
  • Tele experience (highly preferred)
  • Recent EPIC experienceWork Environment:This position will be working in a Level II Trauma Facility with a bed size of [insert bed size]. The patient ratio is 1:7, and the case type is [insert case type].Additional Information:Covid-19 vaccine is not required, but subject to change. Scrubs color is navy blue. No local candidates (40-mile radius rule) will be considered.
