  • 13 weeks contract
  • Start: 10/21 or 11/4 - bi-weekly orientation
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
  • Primary location is Deaconess Midtown Hospital - Evansville, IN
  • Shift Requirement: 12hr Weekend Days 6:30-7
  • Level II Trauma Facility, Teaching Facility, Acute Care
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have current active compact license
    • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS required
    • Minimum Experience: Must have 1 year of Med/Surg (prefer 2 years)
    • 1 travel assignment required
    • Trauma level 1 or 2 required
    • Tele experience is HIGHLY preferred
    • Recent EPIC charting experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
      • Schedule Information
      • 12hr Weekend Days 6:30-7
      • every weekend/every other holiday rotation

        • Henderson: Med/Surg, Med/Surg/Ortho
        • Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio: Ratios - 1:7
        • Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs

          • NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)
          • Float Requirement: float pool - first to float between campuses & potential to cross campus
          • On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A
          • Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
          • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
