• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications must be submitted upon application.

  • Registered Nurse position available within Medical Surgical / Telemetry department.
  • Contract length is 13 weeks.
  • Start dates are on 10/21 or 11/4, with orientations occurring bi-weekly.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have a current active compact license.
    • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
    • Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience required, preferably 2 years.
    • At least 1 travel assignment required.
    • Trauma level 1 or 2 experience required.
    • Tele experience is HIGHLY preferred.
    • Recent EPIC charting experience required (will need to complete a checkoff class).
      • Schedule Information
      • Guaranteed Hours: 36 (48 hours available upon request).
      • Shift Requirement: 12-hour Nights, 6:30 PM to 7 AM.
      • Float Requirement: to float between campuses and within same campus.
      • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: every other weekend and holiday rotation.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Med/Surg, Renal, Observation, Oncology/Pulmonary, Ortho/Neuro/Trauma, Cardiovascular units at Midtown.
        • Surgery/Oncology, General Med/Tele, Neuro/Surgical, Observation, Ortho/Surgical, Med/Surg/Neuro, Med/Surg/Ortho, Telemetry Stepdown units at Gateway.
        • Med/Surg, Med/Surg/Ortho units at Henderson.
        • Acute Care patient care areas with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio.
        • Candidate should be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change well, and be social.
          • Additional Details
          • MS/Tele RNs - Nights - Deaconess Midtown.
          • No local candidates (40 mile radius rule).
          • Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs.
          • Covid-19 Vaccine not initially required but is subject to change.
