nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures
and protocols of the healthcare organization.Implement and monitor
patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient
condition as appropriate.Serve as a primary coordinator of all
disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Note and carry out
physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patient's
discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare
team.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS
Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job
transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red
Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board
of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
required.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of
nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
required.Additional PreferencesWe are a specialized Med Surg unit
that sees patients with musculoskeletal issues including broken or
fractured bones, arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements, and
other injuries and diseases. You will also see
Laminectomy/Discectomy surgeries, Trauma Injuries, and Podiatry
patients.You will work as an integral part of the orthopedic and
neurosurgical team working alongside the orthopedic surgeon,
neurosurgeon, and trauma surgeon; and ensuring that patients on the
road to recovery are properly regaining strength and range of
motion.We get patients from ER, ICU transfers, elective ortho/neuro
surgeries from PACU, and direct admits.As a member of our team, you

neurosurgical care.Provide direct care for the Ortho patients,
Neuro patients, and Trauma patientsSupport and Educate patients and

patient conditions as appropriate throughout their
stay/recoveryExcellent multi-tasking skills & communication
