TELE-PSYCHIATRY! Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist - In-Patient Services
Cape Girardeau, MO

Southeast Behavioral Hospital is a new 102-bed psychiatric hospital, opened in March, 2021. The new hospital provides a full continuum of in-patient psychiatric services to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Specialty programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance abuse issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population.

In addition, robust out-patient programs will be offered to address the most prevalent mental health concerns, including child, adolescent and family counseling; and treatment for depression, anxiety disorders and other common behavioral issues. Our new, $33M state-of-the-art facility spans more than 68,000 square feet, and significantly improves access to care for behavioral health services in Cape Girardeau and the southeast Missouri area.

Opportunity Details:

Full Time, Employed Position
Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
100% tele- psychiatry or mix of 1 day onsite/4 days via tele-psych per week
In-Patient Setting
Duties include: Rounding, admissions, treatment team participation, discharge summaries, medication management

Qualifications:

B/C or B/E in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
Missouri Medical License or ability to obtain
