Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Application Security
role.
Key Responsibilities:
Hire, mentor, and guide direct reports, coordinate and lead work
streams, and establish roadmaps for the team
Plan and execute application penetration testing, collaborate with
development teams to identify security issues, and promote a Paved
Road approach to security
Continuous process improvement, collaboration with other teams to
solve security problems, and building critical metrics for
success
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field and 8+ years
of experience in product security in an agile environment
Deep knowledge of security best practices, experience building and
securing services in on-premise and cloud environments, and proven
track record in hiring and developing security engineering
talent
Experience leading distributed teams, understanding of Agile/Scrum
methodologies, and experience with application security for SaaS
products
