Job Description:

• Performs project management including but not limited to:
  • Defining project scope and projected improvement
  • Propose specifications and equipment recommendations
  • Propose strategies and technological solutions to implement
  • Manage the process of projects and deliverables
  • Develop the necessary documentation to standardize:
    • Work documents
    • Work instructions
    • Plant and process layout
    • Participate in the design and optimization of equipment with a multidisciplinary team
    • Participate in the internal robotics development effort
    • Improve production flow through process mapping and MIFD assessment
    • Reduce 7 forms of waste
    • Conduct time studies and create standardized work charts
    • Improve productivity by elimination of waste, work simplification, and automation
    • Recommend facility layouts and space utilization
    • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles
    • Implement and lead the Kaizen process
    • Provide leadership for the Lean fabrication and Kaizen implementation team
    • Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements
      • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
      • In depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing, proven tools and practices in project and change management
      • Knowledge of simulation, vision, and or drawings an asset
      • Excellent organizational skills
      • Self-motivated and strives to accomplish goals
      • Prompt and regular attendance
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
      • Team player mindset
      • Excellent time management skills
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
