Job Description About the Team: This co-op position will work on
project Iris, the design and drafting platform for Comcast's fiber
optic and coax network. Iris is being developed by team with AeGIS,
the group within CONNECT (formerly NGAN, Next Generation Access
Networks) that develops tools to support the construction and
maintenance of Comcast's access network. Comcast is deploying the
most advanced networks in the world, and needs powerful tools to
support that effort. In order to meet the needs of our network
design and deployment teams, and to achieve enterprise class
performance, Iris is being built using state-of-the-art software
technologies, including Unity3D, Node.js, MongoDB and AWS. Overview
of the Role: This position will lead a collaborative team of
designers and programmers of varying experience levels,
contributing knowledge of client software and ensuring a smooth
integration of user-facing elements with server-side elements. This
position will not only write Unity3D/C# code that will run in the
client application, but will also direct and lead more junior
developers working on the team. The Principle Unity3D engineer will
be responsible for developing, testing, optimizing, and maintaining
operational infrastructure, as well as performing version upgrades.
This position will collaborate closely with team members to deliver
end-user data through the Unity3D front-end, and work toward the
resolution of any database-related challenges. This position must
be comfortable working and problem-solving independently.

Preferred Skills & Experience:10+ years of experience in cable
access networks including HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax), DAA (Distributed
Access Architecture), PON (Passive Optical Network), WiFI, etc.An
ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience developing backend
applications in Node.JSAbility to architect software solutions, to
define components of the solution (e.g. frontend, backend,
database), APIs and performance requirementsExperience deploying
and supporting enterprise application in cloud environments such as
AWS, Azure, or Google CloudAbility to work with large and complex
data sets, including the analysis and transformation of network
configuration and real time dataStrong working knowledge of Java
Script, XML, HTML, and various No-SQL databases, especially
MongoDB.Experience integrating user-facing elements with
server-side logicFamiliarity with CI/CD framework (e.g. Jenkins,
GIT, Concourse)Develop scalable solutions that are resilient and a
focus on Cybersecurity, ensuring all platforms are secure and
