We are looking for our Engineering Supervisor to take ownership, embrace the challenge to find a way to make things easier, while delivering a consistently great customer experience!The Engineering Supervisor will provide innovative and driven leadership in a manner that brings teams together to deliver results that help drive revenue and growth initiatives, control expenses, improve the company's service to customers and enhance operational efficiencies. This position has responsibility for many operational components of the business primarily which include outside plant activities. Requirements:
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience10+ years telecommunications or related experience2+ years supervisory experience in related fieldTechnical background in communications and networking desiredP&L management experienceCapital budget experienceExcellent analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skillsWorking knowledge of budget administration, practices, and accountingRelevant experience in dealing with public relations and human resource issuesAbility to comprehend new technologies quicklyMust possess strong communications skills, both verbal and writtenIn-depth knowledge of the Microsoft MS-Office software suite with particular emphasis on Excel, Visio, and PowerPointSolid management skills are a must including the ability to deal with change, stress, and conflict and coaching and mentoring of subordinatesAbility to work long hours as required and deal well with stressStrong team player with the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate partnerships with internal and external customersAbility to read, analyze and interpret technical documentation and proceduresMust be able to collect, manipulate, and distribute data for effective root cause analysisProven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects as well as leading departmental initiativesTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE LOCATED IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.About usClearwave Fiber, a 100% Fiber Optic Internet provider offering business, enterprise, and residential communications services, is expanding its network to reach new communities across the Midwest and Southeast regions.
