Job Description Associate Accountant - Immediate Need - Mt Vernon, INPay: $20-$25/hour + 1.5x(Overtime)Location: Mt Vernon, INStart Date: 5/30/22Duration: 6 - 9 MonthsA Major Manufacturer who designs and assembles tracks systems for agricultural equipment is seeking an Associate Accountant to supportengineering offices and assembly facilities for OEM products.Associate Accountant (Accounting Asst 1) :Maintains accounts payable invoices, bills, ACH payments and external communications with suppliers and parent organization. Plays a key role in Sales Support by creating, tracking, and communicating sales orders from multiple sources.Responsibilities:Organize packing lists and invoices from suppliers, including Quality Organization approval, and file paid invoicesReview supplier statements and invoices, research discrepancies as neededConduct weekly review of supplier payment due invoices and manage ACH spreadsheetTrack orders from OEMs and aftermarket, issue sales ordersMaintain awareness of customer product shipments and process send invoicesProvide administrative assistance by collecting and distributing mail, ordering office and cleaning supplies, planning employee lunches and events.Required Skills:High school diploma/GED plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively communicate (verbal and written) issues, problems, and observations of work being performed.Demonstrated ability to work with cross discipline teams (Accounting, Manufacturing, Shipping, Warehouse).Ability to work with minimal supervision managing multiple projects and tasks.Proficient using computers, especially experience with QuickBooks software.Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.#PCFA #Accounting #LI-Onsite
